The 13th annual Mabry Elementary PTA Walk-A-Thon will be held on November 2nd, 2024, from 9am-12pm. Join our students, families, staff, and faculty as we walk laps together for fun and fitness while we raise money for Mabry Elementary School.


What to expect at the 2024 Walk A Thon: A food truck alley and family sitting area to enjoy a quick bite to eat. Posies flower truck for fresh fall florals, 2 BOUNCE houses, a dunking bucket with Coach Broff, face painting, temporary tattoo artists, and much more! 


Over 800+ in attendance and a lifetime of fun and memories!


Where does the money go? This year, we are raising money for campus improvements and technology enhancements at the school. More details to come!!!

Fundraising GOAL & HIGHLIGHTS:

  • This year's goal is to raise $75,000!
  • Top Class wins a dessert party!

Setting up your student's personalized fundraising page

We are so excited to be offering individual student fundraising pages this year for Walk-a-Thon. To activate your student's page, follow these steps:


1.  Go to and login to your account, create one if you haven't already!

2.  In the top menu, double click on "My Account"

3.  Your student's page should be listed under Fundraisers

4.  Click on their name to personalize their page and start sharing it to friends and family!

5.  It is important to have friends and family donate through your child's page for them to get credit.

6. Make sure your child's grade and teacher are updated in toolkit so your class gets credit!

All donations are due by Wednesday, October 30th to ensure your prize level guarantee. If you donate after this date, there is no guarantee of prizes at level achieved. Submit donations online, to the Walk-a-Thon basket in the front office, or to your child’s homeroom teacher.

What is the Walk-a-thon?

The Mabry PTA Walk-a-thon is a family oriented fundraiser. Our entire community pitches in- from local businesses to relatives living far away! On Saturday, November 2nd, (9am- noon) students, families and Mabry staff come together at the Coleman track to walk and enjoy the festival-like environment. There will be  activities for all ages- DJ, photo- booth, inflatables, face- painters and more!

How do students win a prize?

Raise as much money as you can! Ask family, friends and neighbors for donations and submit all no later than October 30th! Remember, for any cash donations, you must include a donation form or envelope that includes the name of the student that should receive credit for the donations in order for prizes to be allocated to the proper student. If we do not receive a form or envelope with the cash donation, we do not guarantee that the donation will be allocated properly. No form or envelope is required for online donations.


Do I have to walk a certain number of laps to raise money?

No! Ask your donors for a flat dollar amount based on the prize level you are trying to attain. Students earn prizes based on the $ amount raised, not laps walked.
There is an incentive for students to be active at the event! All students that walk at least 4 laps will earn a spirit stick at the event!

When and how is money collected for the Walk-a-thon?

Donations are being accepted now through October 30th! For your convenience, you can donate online. Or, if you prefer, turn in cash or check donations with a form or envelope with the student's name to the front office with walkathon, child and teacher name on envelope.
Checks should be made payable to Mabry Elementary PTA with "Walkathon" and child's name in the memo.

How do I volunteer to help?

We need lots of volunteers to help the day of the event and shifts are as short as 1 hour! Keep your eye on the Mabry Minute starting late September for a Signup Genius link for Walk-a-thon volunteers!
